According to Webster police, on Monday, April 6, 2009, at approximately 6:40pm, officers were called to the Hobby Lobby store located on the Gulf Freeway to investigate a robbery.

Two women apparently approached the victim and demanded her purse. When she refused, the suspects assaulted the woman with some type of wooden bat and their fists.

The suspects are both black females. The first suspect is described as 18-25 years of age, approximately 5' to 5'6"tall, weighing 115-120 pounds, with a "wild looking unbraided Afro" hairstyle. The second suspect is described as being in her 40's, approximately 5'6", and weighing 125-135 pounds, also with a "wild looking unbraided Afro" hairstyle. The suspects then fled the scene in an older gold colored four door sedan.

Webster police say these suspects match the description in two similar robberies which also occurred in Webster, on Wednesday, April 1.
