Investigators say a witness reported seeing the cars speeding down West Little York early Sunday morning. One of the cars, a Jeep Cherokee, hit the curb and slammed into a tree near greenhouse.
The front passenger died instantly. The driver suffered a broken leg.
The second vehicle drove away.
