The incident occurred around 6:20pm on a bus at W. Alabama and Weslayan in southwest Houston. According to METRO officials, a black male suspect in his mid to upper 60s stabbed a black female in her early to mid 20s under her eye and nose. They reportedly got into an argument over an unknown topic.
The woman was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in unknown condition. About a dozen people were on the bus at the time of the stabbing. No other injuries were reported.
The man remained on the bus following the incident and was arrested by Houston police.
