Murder victim found with hands, legs tied up

HOUSTON The man was discovered outside an apartment complex on Maplecrest near Beechnut in southwest Houston overnight. Police say he died from a gunshot wound.

"He was shot at the location and then vehicles were seen fleeing from the scene," said M.A. Khan with the Houston Police Department.

Witnesses saw a red and a white car take off after the shooting. At this time, investigators are not sure if the victim lived at the apartment complex.
