School district officials say they have suspended all varsity cheerleading activities at Morton Ranch High School in Katy for the remainder of the year. The move follows an investigation into an alleged hazing incident which took place back in July. Members of the school's varsity cheerleading squad allegedly took junior varsity cheerleaders from their homes. The JV girls were reportedly blindfolded, tied-up and tossed into a swimming pool. No one was hurt.

A Harris County grand jury is reviewing the case for possible criminal charges.
