Texans hope to play Oct. 5 at Reliant

Houston Texans coach Gary Kubiak thinks his team will be focused for Sunday's game with Tennessee -- despite dealing with Hurricane Ike and its aftermath. Kubiak says his players have been good and they're working hard.

Ike made landfall at Galveston on Saturday.

Quarterback Matt Schaub says it was difficult to come back at first, but that being on the field has helped.

Texans owner Bob McNair said that he hasn't received any updates on Reliant Stadium's damaged retractable roof, but engineers are still checking the stadium for structural damage.

McNair remains optimistic his team will be able to play its home game on October 5th at Reliant Stadium.

If the roof isn't fixed by then there is a possibility they could play with it open or move the game to an alternate location in Houston -- like Rice Stadium.
