HOUSTON When police arrived on the scene on Hastings near Findlay, they say they found a man with a sword in his hands. Officers told him to put it down, but they say he instead raised it over his head and moved toward them.
The officers kept telling the man to stop as they moved down the driveway, but he reportedly continued to refuse so an officer fired his gun, hitting the man in the chest.
He was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.
