'Bagless Bandit' stuffs cash down pants

KINGWOOD, TX The Houston FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man who robbed the Sterling Bank in Kingwood last week. Lacking a bag for his loot, the "Bagless Bandit" stuffed the cash down the front of his pants and fled the bank.

At approximately 10:40am, Thursday, August 5, 2008, "Bagless Bandit" entered the bank at 23852 Eastex Freeway in Kingwood, and asked the teller to cash a check. When asked for identification, "Bagless Bandit" pulled a silver revolver, pointed it at the teller and demanded cash. The teller placed the money on the counter, and "Bagless Bandit" stuffed the cash down the front of his pants and fled. He was seen getting into a small silver vehicle outside the bank.

"Bagless Bandit" is described as a Hispanic male, 20-25 years old, 5'5" to 5'6" tall, 140-160 pounds, average build, with short black hair. He was wearing a gray short sleeved polo shirt over a dark t-shirt, blue jeans and dark sunglasses.
