Firefighters say a child may to blame for starting a fire northwest Houston. The fire started around 2am at a townhouse on Tidwell. Officials say a child in the home was playing with a lighter and caught some bed sheets on fire.

"Kids are so curious. They don't understand," said District Chief Mark Donovan with the Houston Fire Department. "This is a good example of keeping matches and lighters away from kids."

Everyone got out safely, and the fire was contained to one unit.
