Man arrested in 2005 fatal shooting

HOUSTON Darrion Dashawn Roscoe, 23, on Thursday night for his alleged involvement in the fatal shooting of a teen in May 2005. Roscoe is charged with murder for the killing of Randy Martin, 16, of Houston. The teen suffered several gunshot wounds and later died while in surgery at Ben Taub General Hospital.

Martin and a friend were walking on the sidewalk in the 10400 block of Forum Park about 12:10am on May 2, 2005 when several individuals, described only as black males, passed by them driving in a white 1988-1992 Cadillac. The vehicle turned around and someone in the backseat fired several shots from an assault rifle, striking Martin. Martin's friend was not injured.

The follow-up investigation determined Roscoe was the shooter in this incident. The investigation is continuing and more arrests are possible.
