Police have caught five suspects who they believe robbed a Whataburger last night. It happened just before midnight on Fuqua near the Gulf Freeway in southeast Houston. The three armed robbers stormed into the fast food restaurant and demanded money from the register and customers.

Two more people were waiting in a getaway car outside. Police followed the getaway car as it left the parking lot. That getaway car crashed into a ditch near Almeda Mall and two of suspects fled on foot. Police used K-9 units to catch them.

All five suspects were taken into custody.
