Police say man shot himself in chase

HUNTSVILLE, TX The chase from Willis to Huntsville occurred Thursday night. Investigators say Casey Brunette, 21, opened fire on deputies when they tried to pull him over. He was cornered in a rock quarry and deputies say he started ramming cars.

Deputies opened fire, but investigators now say Brunette shot himself. He died later at a hospital.
