Wildfire burns in Clear Lake area

HOUSTON The crews spent part of the night putting out hot spots in a field near Middle Brook and Bay Area Boulevard. The fire started around 3pm and the firefighters quickly called for help due to high winds and the heat.

Fire crews from seven area departments sent men and trucks to help fight the fire. No one was hurt and the cause is not known.
