High tech library celebration continues

HOUSTON Yesterday, a few thousand people showed up at the downtown facility for the first day of festivities. They got a first-hand look at two years and $17 million worth of work. The building now has more than 200 computers, WiFi access and much more.

"Children and teens will be amazed," said Dr. Rhea Brown Lawson with the Houston Public Library. "And adults will be very, very impressed."

You can still take part in this free event. The party will start up again at 1 this afternoon and will last until 5pm.
