Sketch released in attempted kidnapping

HOUSTON, TX The victim was able to provide police with some important details of one of her two attackers. He was about six feet tall, black with a fair complexion and freckles. He was described as having a big build and is probably in his 40s.

The attack happened about two weeks ago on in River Oaks. The woman was walking along Del Monte Street around 7am when she was approached by two men in a silver or champagne color four-door colored sedan.

The woman was hit over the head and dragged inside the vehicle's trunk. Amazingly, she found the trunk's latch and opened it from the inside. She was able to escape.

While she got away with her life, she says the two men stole her freedom.

"It's changed everything in my life. I don't want to be alone," said the victim, who we're not identifying. "I don't want my kids to be alone. I'm afraid constantly, terrified to go out. I'm terrified to do anything without a friend or family member. I don't know if I'll ever walk again -- outside."

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. There is a $5,000 reward being offered for any information leading to an arrest of the two men. You will remain anonymous.
