Bus driver accused of driving while impaired

TOMBALL, TX The student complained Wednesday morning after riding on the bus route to Willow Wood Junior High. The district says the student called home to complain about the bus driver's driving and the parent called the district.

School officials met the driver at the school.

"Absolutely, we were concerned," said Staci Stanfield with Tomball ISD. "That's why the administrator made sure the bus driver was returned in another vehicle. Another individual completed that route."

The unidentified driver has taken drug and alcohol tests and has been suspended pending the outcome of those results.
