Obama to campaign in Houston next week

HOUSTON Obama is scheduled to make campaign stops in San Antonio and Houston on Tuesday and the Dallas-Fort Worth area on Wednesday.

He is set to debate Clinton in Austin on Thursday and then do some additional campaigning on Friday in the state.

This weekend, Obama's campaign was recruiting and training precinct captains throughout the state in efforts to reach out to voters.

Clinton earlier this week made stops in El Paso, San Antonio, McAllen and Robstown, located outside Corpus Christi, during a two-day tour of the state.

Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, campaigned in several cities in East Texas on Friday and West Texas on Saturday.

Both Obama and Hillary Clinton are working to attract support in Texas ahead of the state's March 4 primary.
