"I ran to my daughter's room. I tried to open the door, and it won't open and I hear her screaming. And I hear her boyfriend screaming," said the victim's mother Anna Longoria. "When I finally opened the door, it looked like a car had run over her."
Amazingly, the van only rolled over Castillo, and she wasn't hurt at all. Her boyfriend pulled her free.
The driver told police her brakes failed.
