Hundreds of volunteers jammed Houston's Food Bank to carry on the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Volunteers from the charity organization Hope Worldwide teamed up with Shell Oil employees and spent their holiday sorting donated food for the needy. The Houston Food Bank serves 88,000 hungry Houstonians each month.

Volunteers play an important role, which is why these two groups didn't think twice about working on their day off.
