A graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in mathematics, Lilly is a former high school teacher. Her love for the Longhorns will find her clad in burnt orange and white on most Saturdays in the fall.
Lilly's involvement and memberships in the community are extensive and to name but a few include Blue Bird Circle, Advisory Board for the Houston Are Command of the Salvation Army and the Houston Symphony League.
In 1988 and 1995, Lilly was selected as Women of Distinction for CCFA. Lilly is the 2008 Women of Distinction Ambassador.
