Protesters march in Houston

HOUSTON Along Bellaire near Rogerdale they carried flags and signs calling for an end to the violence and an end to President Kibaki's reign.

Protester Robinson Ochoo explained, "We came out here to try to urge, send the message out, to put pressure, so that this government can be taken out. The US ambassador condemned it the other day. And we need more condemnation."

Most of the protesters were Kenyan-Americans with family back home. They fear that if Kibaki stays in power, the country will descend into the level of violence that's plagued its neighbors Sudan and Somalia.
