AMES, IA Edwards opened the campaign with a rally before about 500 people
jammed into a ballroom at the student union at Iowa State
University. The theme of his overnight drive is energizing backers
and delivering them to precinct caucuses. He has planned a rally in
Atlantic at midnight and at least two other stops by 5:15 a.m.,
