Robert Plant named 'Beard of the Year'

Here's an award Robert Plant never expected: he's been named Beard of the Year. The BBC reports the Beard Liberation Front, an informal network of beard wearers, has granted the honor to Plant. The Beard Liberation Front bestows the honor on those who promote "a positive image of hirsuteness."

But wait - Robert Plant doesn't have a beard, does he? He did for the Led Zeppelin reunion show last month.
