Chase leads to DPS-involved shooting in northeast Houston, authorities confirm

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A suspect is in custody after a chase that led to a shooting in northeast Houston, authorities say.

Troopers then began shooting at the suspect's car.

According to the Department of Public Safety, the pursuit started at Beltway 8 and 59 and ended on the feeder at Beltway 8 and Woodland Hills.

It is unclear if anybody was hit during the shooting.
