Hundreds of Houstonians remember Audrey Lawson, mother of Melanie Lawson

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Folks all across the area remembered a beloved Houstonian Friday, as Audrey Lawson was laid to rest.

The 83-year-old was known for her work as the first lady of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church. She also carried a special place here at ABC13, as the mother of our very own Melanie Lawson.
