HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The FBI is asking for the public's help to find a man who robbed a north Houston bank on Tuesday.
It happened a few minutes before 7am at the Wells Fargo Bank at 12894 North Freeway. Investigators say a man walked in with a sawed-off shotgun. After grabbing an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled on foot before getting into a black Mazda 626 with an unidentified person driving.
Police were able to arrest a man investigators believe served as a lookout. That man is now charged with bank robbery.
The armed robber is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall to 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with a medium build. He wore a blue one-piece jumpsuit, blue beanie pulled over face with eyes and some face exposed, and maroon Adidas shoes with white stripes.
