HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Heavy overnight rains brought flood waters high into the grounds surrounding the Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, and in some cases, into the facility itself.
A hospital spokesperson released the following statement: "As a result of last night's storms, water entered a couple of non-critical care areas. Emergency planning teams were immediately notified and took action to ensure patient and staff safety. There is no risk to patient care services. The hospital is fully operational."
