ABC13 weather has your Houston forecast details, with doppler radar for southeast Texas and live cameras for the weather where you are, all week long.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- We're only a few days away from the start of fall, but fall weather is nowhere to be found. Records highs could even fall as temperatures push into the upper 90s late this week.

Wednesday will be another hot one, with temperatures climbing from the mid-70s at sunrise to the mid-90s in the middle of the afternoon. The temperatures at Houston's official thermometer should stay below Houston's record high of 99 degrees, but we still could experience feels like temps near 100 or just over. There's only a 10% chance you'll get a cooling shower. In other words, there's a 90% chance you will stay dry.

How long do you expect these summertime temperatures to continue?

High temperatures should remain at or above 90 degrees for the next 10 days. Thankfully, we don't foresee any 100-degree days, but the combination of heat and humidity will put the heat index into the triple digits on many days.

How long will we have to wait for our first fall front?

At this time, it looks like we'll have to wait until the first week of October for any chance of a meaningful cool front to visit us here in Southeast Texas.

What are you tracking in the tropics?

The Atlantic is mostly quiet for the time being. Gordon has mainly dissipated and is now a disorganized area of showers. We are seeing signs that a storm could lift out of the Caribbean and into the Gulf late next week. Head to our daily Tropical Update page for the latest on what's happening in the tropics.
