HOUSTON -- A cell phone robbery at a washateria in southwest Houston turned violent when a man confronted the robber and was beaten by two other young men.

Now police are asking for the public's help to identify those suspects in that November theft.

The robbery happened in the 14400 block of Bellaire Boulevard around 8:45am.

The victim told detectives that he was sitting inside the business looking at his cell phone when a suspect grabbed his phone and ran out the door. The victim chased and actually talked to the suspect, but two other suspects began punching him and pulling him off. They all were able to get away.

The suspects are only described as young black males and they were all wearing black clothing.

A reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information leading to the identity and arrest of these suspects.
