Skip the parking nightmare, Uber to the mall for free

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- If you still need to hit the mall for some last-minute shopping but you're dreading the parking nightmare, Uber is coming through for you in a big way.

From now until December 23, the ride-sharing service is offering free rides to The Woodlands Mall, Willowbrook Mall, First Colony Mall, Pearland Town Center and Katy Mills.

The rides are free up to $20, but shoppers will have to find their own way home -- although they can pay full price for another Uber ride home to complete the round trip.
