TxDOT cleans up 10 million cubic feet of Harvey debris
TxDOT says it has removed 10 million cubic feet of Harvey-related debris.

AUSTIN, Texas (KTRK) -- As southeast Texas worked to clean up from Hurricane Harvey, TxDOT crews removed 10 million cubic feet of debris from state highways.

For perspective, that's enough debris to fill up 186 football fields. The agency had 600 employees working to clean up the mess.

At the height of the storm, more than 500 road closures snarled the state highway system.

Nearly two months later, only one road in Bastrop remains closed.
