Southwest Airlines 3-day sale coming to close
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A huge, three-day fare sale through Southwest comes to a close today.
The carrier's twice-annual fare sale boasts one-way flights out of Houston for as low as $49.
The sale covers travel from Oct. 3 until Dec. 19 and Jan. 3 through Feb. 14, but flights on Fridays and Sundays are excluded.
From Houston Hobby Airport, one-way flights to Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Harlingen, Memphis, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, San Antonio and Tulsa are only $49 or less on some days.
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, however, those fares increase and can as much as double in price.
Those looking to go farther can also score some good deals, with one-way fares from Hobby to Los Angeles and Chicago as low as $38 on certain days in November and December.
And for those longing for fun in the sun, one-way flights to Fort Lauderdale are as low as $44 on certain dates in January and February.
