HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Volunteers will begin searching for a missing transgender man today in southwest Houston.

Darius Gatlin, 28, was last seen on September 11 when he left his home dressed in a pink and white tank top, blue jean shorts and pink and white shoes with flowers.

He has the words "Darius" and "Brandon" tattooed on his neck, a panther tattoo, and the word "Aquarius" tattooed on his chest.

His dark burgundy-colored 2013 Nissan Maxima with Texas license plates BWH-0539 is also missing, police say.
