TOMBALL, TX (KTRK) -- A Tomball official says a violent storm that blew into town Monday evening caused some damage around the city.
The city's fire chief says the storm came around 7:30 and knocked down several trees and limbs all over town.
The storm is also being blamed for tearing off the roof of an open storage shed at a lumber business in the 1000 block of Main Street and tossing it near a hospital and medical building. Chris Muller, the director of marketing at Tomball Regional Hospital, says there was no structural damage to the building.
An Eyewintess News viewer even sent in a photo showing a stroller that had been lifted by strong winds and landed on top of a street sign.
No injuries were reported.
Tomball's fire chief says there's no proof a tornado hit, but he wouldn't be surprised if that was case.
