LOUISVILLE, KY (KTRK) -- Two of three armed robbers are in jail this morning because one of them got thirsty.
Police in Louisville, Kentucky say the three men broke into an elderly woman's home, held her at gunpoint, zip tied her hands and ankles and took thousands in jewelry and money.
But during the robbery, police say one of the crooks took a bottle of water from her refrigerator, drank it and then left it behind. He also left behind a fingerprint on the bottle which led to his arrest.
The man then gave up the identities of his two accomplices. One of them has been captured and the other is still at large.
The victim was not injured but says she now fears for her safety.
