3-year-old thwarts attempted theft of mom's purse

WICHITA, KS (KTRK) -- A 3-year old in Wichita, KS, is being credited with stopping a thief from stealing her mother's purse.

The two were dining at a Panera Bread restaurant in Wichita when she saw the thief in action. She called out to her mom who looked down and saw the man's foot wrapped around the strap of her purse.

So she confronted him and found out he'd taken her wallet. He gave it back and left the restaurant.

So far, police have not been able to find that man.
