HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Midtown bars have been burglarized and business owners are frustrated.

A burglar performed the sign of the cross before he entered a Houston business and surveillance video captured the moment.

Ayman Jarrah owns 360 Midtown off Brazos Street. He said the man stole more than $10,000 worth of liquor and electronics in several break-ins that spanned weeks.

"It's terrifying, very, very scary because we don't know when that guy came to the building," said Jarrah. "All of a sudden, that guy start knowing our scheduling. Know when we open, know when we close."

At the newly opened Belle Station about a quarter mile down the road, co-owner Chris Sideris said he's suffered a similar problem. His bar has been in business for eight months. He said the same burglar stole thousands of dollars worth of televisions from his patio.

"I pray that he gets caught," said Sideris. "Maybe someone will recognize this guy and be able to turn him in."

Anyone who can help identify the man is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-8477.
