HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Drivers across the Houston area should prepare for several road closures this weekend, including a shutdown of the connector ramp from IH-69 southbound to the North Loop.
Officials said that the southbound connector ramp between the Eastex Freeway and the North Loop will completely shut down. The total closure will start at 9 p.m. on Friday and is expected to last until 5 a.m. on Monday.

Houston TranStar said that three alternate eastbound lanes on IH-10 will be closed starting from Patterson Street to IH-45. Officials said the closure is expected from 9 p.m. on Friday until 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Officials said that the East Beltway 8 northbound exit ramp to SH-225 will be closed from 6:30 p.m. on Sunday until 5 a.m. on Monday.
Authorities said that drivers are advised to take the Fairmont Parkway exit, the Spencer Boulevard exit, or the Pasadena/Red Bluff exit ramp.
