

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed in north Harris County on Saturday morning, according to authorities.
In a social media post shared at about 1 a.m., the Harris County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a call about a shooting in the 500 block of Gulf Bank Road.
When deputies arrived, they said they found the man had been shot by an unknown suspect who fled the scene.
Officials said that life-saving measures were administered to the victim at the scene, but he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities said no one is in custody at this time. HCSO said homicide detectives and CSI responded to the scene and that the investigation remains ongoing.
