Woman suffers massive head injuries after tree limb snaps near Spring

SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- A woman is hospitalized after a large tree limb snapped and hit her in the face near Spring Saturday morning.

The accident happened off I-45 and North Hill around 10am, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. The homeowner there was cutting a large limb out of a tree when the limb snapped and hit the woman who was on the ground.

The woman, who sustained massive head injuries, was flown by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann hospital. Her current condition is unknown.
