Fight between friends ends in gunfire, arrest in Spring

SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- A fight between friends led to a shooting outside a fast food restaurant in Spring last night.

Sheriff's deputies were called to a Sonic on FM 1960 and Rolling Creek around 9:15pm.

They found the victim and the shooter walking away from the scene.

The men had been sitting inside a truck when they started arguing. One man pulled a revolver and fired. A bullet grazed his friend's neck. The friend was taken to the hospital in good condition. The shooter was arrested.

Deputies say the shooter was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
