Accused killer of 6 Spring family members due in court
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man accused of killing six family members in Spring last year is expected to appear in court.
Ron Lee Haskell was last in court more than a year ago, when his attorney said he was focused on getting his client's psychiatric evaluations in order.
Investigators say Haskell shot and killed six family members in Spring, including parents Katie and Stephen Stay and their four children, all under the age of 13.
A fifth teenager, Cassidy Stay, was shot but survived her injuries.

Deputies say Haskell posed as a FedEx delivery man and forced his way into the home.
His first court appearance happened two days after the murders, where Haskell collapsed in front of the judge.
His lawyer says he has suffered from mental illness in the past.
