Why celebrate the opening of a skate park with 5,001 blue balloons?

Because--as these skaters demonstrate--it's fun. And it makes for a pretty cool video, too.

The video was made by Devin "Super Tramp" Graham, a filmmaker whose videos often feature extreme sports.

We wish we could say there were no wipe-outs in the making of this, but the behind-the-scenes video would prove that statement wrong.
