HOUSTON -- A profile of Silvia Mintz, who came to Houston from Guatemala as a 23-year old unable to speak English.

She worked as a maid, but later focused on her education - earning a law degree. She is now an immigration attorney who focuses on helping those who benefit from the President's executive immigration order. She also campaigns for the Dream Act. Half of clients are pro bono or reduced rate.
