New study highlights state of public education in the Houston area

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Andy Canales with "Children at Risk" discusses the organization's new study on the state of public education in the Houston area.

Among the findings, 65 percent of children in Harris County are Latino or African American, but less than 15 percent of those students are college ready.
