Woman shot multiple times in north Houston apartment parking lot

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are trying to sort out the details after a woman was shot in north Houston in broad daylight.

The shooting happened around noon in the Canfield apartments parking lot on Northborough. Police say a woman in her 20s was shot multiple times right outside her vehicle. Her condition is unknown, but she is expected to survive.

A man who identified himself as the victim's father says there were young children with the woman at the time.

Police do not have any motive nor witnesses at this point, but the investigation is ongoing.
