Community leaders passed out fliers to find suspect, Pooja Lodhia reports.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Community leaders and authorities are asking for help in identifying a suspect who allegedly assaulted a 95-year-old woman last month.

Around the Sunnyside area, fliers are hanging up in multiple places. Activists and the family of Ophelia Outley want to make sure people see the sketch of the suspect.

Police believe the male suspect is from the Sunnyside area and his family knows he assaulted Outley, but continue to protect him.

The suspect attacked Outley inside her home, breaking her shoulder and stealing her phone and television.

Investigators say she was also sexually assaulted.

"I see my grandmother suffering every day. I really feel at this point she has developed some kind of post-traumatic stress," granddaughter JeanMarie Martin said. "It still goes through her head every day what went on."

Outley is still in a rehab facility.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $6,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
