KILAUEA, Hawaii (KTRK) -- A heavy flow and a bright glow.
The U.S. Geological Survey says more lava is leaking from Hawaii's Kilauea volcano.

Kilauea first went active in 1983, but recently, the USGS says new lava flow breakouts are being discovered on the volcano.
Fortunately, the lava does not pose an immediate threat to the nearby villages at the base of the volcano.
In 2014, an entire village was forced to evacuate as a lava flow destroyed at least one home and threatened many more.
