Grand jury indicts man on capital murder charges for setting 8-year-old boy on fire

CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- A Montgomery County grand jury has indicted a man on capital murder charges for setting a boy on fire more than 15 years ago.

Don Collins is accused of setting 8-year-old Robbie Middleton on fire back in 1998. Middleton ultimately died from the burns, but before he did, he claimed Collins was the one who did it.

Collins was a juvenile at the time, but a judge has already ruled he will be tried as an adult for the crime.
