What Houston's wealthy bought themselves for Christmas
If you're going to buy yourself something nice, you might as well shop like a baller.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Didn't get exactly what you wanted for Christmas? Maybe you'll need to head out and purchase those extra gifts yourself. But if money was no object, what would you buy?

Personal shopper Lisa Powers says when the sky's the limit, it's all about complete and utter luxury.

She picked the creme de la creme of baller status must haves from the River Oaks Shopping District.

For someone who's always on the go, the bags by Tom Ford are all about understated luxury. From black American alligator leather to the oversized zipper that makes a statement, this bag goes for $33,000.

Next on the list are designer sneakers from Kiton.

"It's exclusivity. Not everybody's going to have it," Powers said.

These Mediterranean blue, American crocodile sneakers come from an Italian company known for their artists and handcrafted pieces. The price point is just under $5,000.

And while you're spending like a baller, why not sit back and relax like one.

Justin Po from Davidoff of Genevia says the Oro Blanco from master blender Eladio Diaz's 60th birthday celebration is quintessential for any cigar aficionado's collection. Just one cigar goes for $500.

No baller's gift list would be complete without the ultimate time piece.

"The Patek Philippe 5271P is the fifth iteration of the perpetual calendar chronograph series," Po said.

What makes this truly unique: each part is crafted by hand, from the components, assembly and polished finishing.

"And of course, 58 baguette diamonds which really sets it apart and just gives you that little bit of sparkle," Po explained.

It takes an average of 6 to 8 years to craft one from inception to completion. This extremely limited time piece goes for $260,000.
